LUXCRYL PGA Rapid Absorbable Braided Surgical Sutures are intended for superficial soft tissue and mucosal closure where rapid absorption and short-term wound support are required. Manufactured from polyglycolic acid (PGA), these sutures provide dependable early tensile strength followed by fast, predictable absorption.

The braided construction is coated to reduce tissue drag and enhance handling, enabling smooth passage through tissue and secure knot performance. The undyed formulation is particularly suitable for cosmetic and mucosal applications where colourless sutures are preferred.

This variant is supplied in USP 2/0, 90 cm length, and fitted with an HR 36 (36 mm) reverse cutting needle. Reverse cutting needles place the cutting edge on the outer curvature, reducing tissue cut-out risk while providing controlled penetration for superficial skin and tougher tissues.
