LUXSUTURES® SUPRAMID® black polyamide sutures provide reliable non-absorbable wound closure with excellent handling, minimal tissue reaction and an HR 16 taper point needle for atraumatic soft tissue approximation.

LuxSutures® SUPRAMID® polyamide sutures are manufactured from high-quality twisted and coated multifilament polyamide (nylon), offering reliable tensile strength with minimal tissue reactivity and excellent handling characteristics.

This USP 4/0 suture is supplied in black for enhanced contrast and visibility and fitted with an HR 16 taper point needle (16 mm) on a 75 cm strand, designed for atraumatic penetration of soft tissue while preserving tissue integrity and ensuring precise wound edge approximation.

SUPRAMID® polyamide sutures are intended for soft tissue approximation and ligation where long-term wound support is required and absorption is not desired. The suture is gradually encapsulated by connective tissue and may be removed when clinically indicated.
