Ethicon PDS PLUS is a sterile, synthetic, absorbable monofilament surgical suture composed of polydioxanone and coated with the antibacterial agent triclosan to inhibit bacterial colonisation of the suture surface, helping reduce the risk of surgical site infection.

This USP 4-0 undyed suture is supplied in a 45 cm (18 inch) length and is armed with a single-armed PC-3 PRIME MP conventional cutting needle measuring 19 mm with a 3/8 circle curvature, designed to deliver sharp, controlled penetration for precise skin and soft tissue closure.
