Q-close Bond non-absorbable braided polyester surgical suture USP 2-0, 90 cm, green, double armed, with 6 × 3 × 1.5 mm pledgets and 1/2 circle tapercut 26 mm needles.
Q-close Bond Non-Absorbable Braided Polyester Surgical Sutures are intended for soft tissue approximation and reinforcement where long-term tensile strength retention and dependable wound support are required. Manufactured from high-quality braided polyester, these sutures provide durability, controlled handling characteristics, and reliable knot security.
The braided construction supports consistent placement and secure knot formation, making Q-close Bond suitable for procedures requiring controlled closure and sustained tensile support. The green colour enhances visibility within the surgical field, aiding accurate placement and identification during surgical procedures.
This pledgeted variant is supplied in USP 2-0 with a length of 90 cm and is double armed, fitted with 1/2 circle tapercut 26 mm needles at each end. Each suture incorporates 6 × 3 × 1.5 mm pledgets, designed to distribute tension, reduce tissue cut-through, and provide additional reinforcement at the suture entry and exit points. Tapercut needles combine a cutting tip with a taper body, enabling effective penetration through firmer tissue while maintaining controlled passage and minimising tissue trauma. The double-armed configuration supports symmetrical suturing and even tension distribution.
Q-close Bond pledgeted sutures are commonly used in cardiovascular surgery and other applications requiring reinforced, non-absorbable braided wound support. Supplied sterile in boxes of 12 sutures, individually packaged for professional clinical use.
