LUXCRYL PGA Rapid Absorbable Braided Surgical Sutures are designed for superficial soft tissue and mucosal closure where rapid absorption and short-term wound support are required. Manufactured from polyglycolic acid (PGA), these sutures provide reliable tensile strength during the early healing phase, followed by fast and predictable absorption.

The braided structure is coated to reduce tissue drag and improve handling, allowing smooth passage through tissue and secure knot performance. The undyed formulation is particularly suitable where colourless sutures are preferred or required for cosmetic or mucosal applications.

This variant is supplied in USP 0, 75 cm length, and fitted with an HR 30 (30 mm) reverse cutting needle. Reverse cutting needles feature the cutting edge on the outer curvature, reducing tissue cut-out risk while providing controlled penetration, making them suitable for skin and tougher superficial tissue closure.
