LUXCRYL PGA Rapid Absorbable Braided Surgical Sutures are intended for superficial soft tissue and mucosal closure where rapid absorption and short-term wound support are required. Manufactured from polyglycolic acid (PGA), these sutures provide dependable early tensile strength followed by fast, predictable absorption.

The braided construction is coated to reduce tissue drag and enhance handling, enabling smooth passage and secure knot performance. The undyed formulation is suitable for cosmetic or mucosal applications where colourless sutures are preferred.

This variant is supplied in USP 1, 75 cm length, and fitted with an HS 40 (40 mm) non-cutting round-bodied (taper) needle. Taper needles separate tissue fibres rather than cut them, minimising tissue trauma and supporting atraumatic closure of superficial tissues.
